... if you are fortunate enough to find someone who is intensely conscious, if you can be with them and join them in a state of presence, that can be helpful and will accelerate things. In this way your own light will quickly grow stonger"

Eckhart Tolle

Sally is delighted to announce her new retreat venue!

Cober Hill, close to the sea around five miles north of Scarborough, is a special place to find peace and tranquility. Set in the stunning North York Moors National Park and overlooking the fabulous Heritage Coast, the centre enjoys six acres of beautifully tended private grounds to wander in, making Cober Hill the perfect place to relax, unwind and recharge

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonesense
Ralph Waldo Emerson

On Inner Peace Now! weekend retreats you'll experience healing and meditation and share in Eckhart Tolle's teachings. You'll also learn ways to stay present and preserve your energy during these changing and challenging times, spend time out in nature with like minded friends, and enjoy a weekend of laughter, stillness, healing and transformation

The retreats begin with dinner on Friday evening (bedrooms are normally available after 2.30 pm) and end at around 5.00 pm on Sunday. The cost is just £195.00 per person and includes full board accommodation in ensuite rooms

Cober Hill, Cloughton, Scarborough

Located in the village of Cloughton just off the main road between Scarborough and Whitby, Cober Hill is a residential centre providing reflection, recreation and relaxation. Established in 1920 by Arnold Rowntree of York, it's aim has always been to provide space and facilities for groups reflecting his interests in Adult Education, and also for families who wanted something more than a conventional holiday by the seaside

Cober Hill’s range of lounges and meeting rooms enable the different groups staying there to have their own private meeting and relaxing space. Its large conference hall and lecture theatre provide room for larger gatherings and for active uses. In its superb setting overlooking spectacular cliffs and backed by the North Yorkshire Moors, the six acres of gardens and leisure facilities can meet the needs both of the most energetic and of the seeker after peace and tranquillity

The centre's impressive facilities include 63 ensuite bedrooms, including 22 singles and a range of family, twin and double bedded rooms. Twenty five bedrooms are located on the ground floor and two have been designed to accommodate the disabled/wheelchair users. Cober Hill takes pride in their catering, with a seasonally changing menu that offers quality, diversity and catering to different dietary requirements. Free WiFi is available in certain areas
